With 60 to 70 employees, including engineers and especially many technicians, tight scheduling is crucial for Veldkamp. Timewax helped make planning manageable in an environment with high turnover, varying types of work, and a large field service team. The organization now has better visibility into capacity, can adjust sooner, and communicates with technicians more promptly. What started as a replacement for an unworkable Excel schedule grew into a solid foundation for the operation — and a basis for further professionalization.

Our old custom software worked perfectly for years, but it wasn’t being further developed. Now, when I create a plan item in Timewax, it’s instantly available in AFAS Profit and AFAS Pocket. In AFAS Pocket, employees can see which clients they need to see and log their hours worked there. When a client calls for an appointment, scrolling forward is so much faster than we were used to. That really makes our work easier. And now we can email a client a summary of all their recurring appointments.

With Timewax we have a planning that everyone can rely on. For the planners it helps enormously that recording the planning is very accessible: “You can easily move, copy and switch between consultants.” The planning automatically goes to the consultants’ calendar and through the 2-way integration with Outlook the appointments from the calendar are also synchronized with Timewax. All this helps the planning to make a correct and complete schedule.
